This six-page cheat sheet summarizes the main points in the Fret Science video titled: "Demystifying Triads and CAGED: Unlock the fretboard and improvise freely" (aka "The CAGED System (and Triads) SIMPLIFIED" ), and provides a valuable reference to keep near your guitar. It includes a full overview of the CAGED System. It starts with the four types of triads, where they occur inside the major scale (and its modes), how they relate to 7th chords, and how their shapes change as they move across the fretboard. It describes how triads related to major and minor pentatonic scales and how the pentatonic scales relate to the modes. The end result is a hierarchy of notes and patterns that shows how everything fits together.
